In a nutshell, it's about silence and introspection, or internal awareness watching itself.  In the book, "The Most Direct Means to Eternal Bliss" the author says that Nisargadatta attained enlightenment by having awareness watching itself.

Here are some points to reflect on and remember:

  • The Quickest way to Enlightenment is Silence and Awareness
  • The "I" is the impostor disguised as yourself, and that is in the way. It is pretending to be yourself
  • The impostor could be said to be your ego
  • Inward problems need inward answers

Here is a small clip of Eckhart Tolle talking about Stillness and the silence space of stillness.

Oneness-Workout 01

  1. Sit still an be aware of the "I", or self.
  2. Who is the I or self really?
  3. What is behind the I or the self?
  4. Notice the awareness of yourself, and the awareness of you being aware your watching yourself. Who is behind that awareness. See how far you can go.
  5. Notice your thoughts as you meditate now.
  6. View thoughts like logs in a stream and just observe them as they come in and then let them go.
  7. Try to have no thoughts when meditation.
